I’m Kelly Marages, an editorial director, writer, and strategist who wants to entertain you, inform you, and make everything in the world sound better.

I started in magazines in the aughts, climbing from Assistant to the Executive Editor all the way to Executive Editor itself. Now I do editorial directing, creative strategy, and strategic copywriting for brands and businesses. I specialize in integrating with your team to lead storytelling.

I have an MFA from Bennington College and a novel in progress. My short stories have appeared in Bridge Eight, Coda Quarterly, Crack the Spine, Selfish, and Hayden’s Ferry Review as a runner-up in their annual flash fiction contest.
